Enjoy a relaxing evening cruise past famous landmarks along the River
Seine. Celebrate the
beginning of a fabulous trip with a special dinner at the Paradis
Latin*, Paris's oldest cabaret theatre. Enjoy a delicious dinner
complete with wine, champagne and a delightful cabaret show.

Day 3: Paris
 A panoramic tour of Paris reveals the
breathtaking architecture of the Arc de Triomphe; the Cathedral of
Notre Dame; the Place de la Concorde and its commanding obelisk from
the tomb of Ramses II in Egypt; Place Vendome; and the
Champs-Elysées, the promenade famous for its people watching.
Today breakfast will

Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel
Day 4:
Paris - Caen - Huppain Port-en-Bessin
Set off for the Normandy coast. During
WW II, the largest invasion in history took place here. Enjoy an
insightful visit to the Memorial Peace Museum, built to commemorate
those who died in the epic battle of Normandy in 1944. Later, see the
remains of the artificial Mulberry port built near Arromanche-les-Bains
from where the allies resupplied their lines during the liberation of
France before making your way to the hotel.

Hotel Mercure, Omaha Beach
Day 5: Huppain Port-en-Bessin - D-Day Landing Sights
This morning visit the Omaha Beach
Cemetery, with time to visit the new interpretive center, and to see
the stars and stripes raised over the graves of the valiant soldiers
who gave their lives in the Battle of Normandy. Then walk through la
Pointe Du Hoc Ranger Memorial, see where the 2nd Ranger Battalion
scaled 100-foot cliffs on D-Day to seize the fortified enemy position.
Next, make your way to Sainte Mère Eglise, the heart of the
American Airborne operations on D-Day, and visit its parachute shaped
Airborne Museum. You will also visit other landing beaches, such as
Utah and Juno. Then, stop off at a local cider factory and farm to
sample Normandy’s drink of choice.

Day 6: Huppain Port-en-Bessin - Blois
Journey south to the Loire Valley which
is brimming with chateaus and parks, once the setting for the French
court. Visit Chateaux de
Chenonceaux on the banks of the Cher River, a jewel of Renaissance
architecture with traditional French gardens.

Mercure Blois Centre Hotel
Day 7: Blois - Amboise - Blois
 Embark on a tour of
Chateaux du Clos Luce, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last three
years, showcasing a display of his early inventions. Proceed to the
picturesque center of Amboise for free time to explore the colorful
market street or a pleasant stroll along the river. Enjoy a tour and
tasting at a well-known winery in Vouvray.

Day 8: Blois - Paris - TGV Train - Avignon
Climb aboard the high speed TGV Train
heading for Avignon, Provence. Enjoy a delightful tour of this walled
city that was the center of European religion for 70 years when the
Popes moved there in 1309. The afternoon is at leisure for independent
exploration.

Day 9: Avignon - Aix-en-Provence - Avignon
 Embark on a walking tour “in the
footsteps of Cézanne” through Aix-en-Provence’s tree lined
avenues to view sites from the famous painter's life. Experience the
markets and monuments of this ancient city before returning to Avignon.

Day 10: Avignon - St. Paul de Vence - Grasse - Nice
Today, journey to St. Paul de Vence, a
16th century walled town overlooking the Mediterranean coast. Travel to
Grasse, a retreat in the alluring Cote d'Azur region of France. Learn
the secrets of perfume making, from extraction to distillation, when
visiting a famous perfumerie. Then it’s off to Nice, the playground of
the rich and famous.

11: Nice - Monaco - Nice
Enjoy
a morning
stroll
through the local Flower Market in Nice. Next, see Place Massena and
the lively seafront Promenade des Anglais. Witness the splendor of
Monaco, the glittering gem of the Riviera. A panoramic tour highlights
the famous Casino of Monte Carlo and the 13th century Prince’s Palace.
See the Cathedral of Monaco, where Prince Rainier III and Princess
Grace are buried. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a quaint
restaurant.

Versailles Palace $95

During your free afternoon, enjoy an
interesting visit to the incomparable Palace of Versailles. The palace
and gardens of Versailles reflect the will of King Louis XIV, the "Sun
King." On this excursion travel by private bus to Versailles, where
your local guide will recount the history of the palace and lead you
through the various rooms of the State Apartments. Of particular
interest is the Queen's bedchamber and the famous Hall of Mirrors. You
then have leisure time to explore to explore the marvelous French
gardens and admire the beautiful floral arrangements and fountains.
Please note that the motorcoach is not permitted to drop off at the
entrance to Versailles and the grounds of Versailles are quite large.
Walking will be required to fully enjoy this excursion.

What exactly is your cancellation waiver?
We have the best
cancellation waiver in the industry-period. You can cancel your trip up
until the day prior to departure for any reason - sickness, change of
heart or any reason whatsoever-and you will receive a full refund,
minus the small cost of the insurance. That's a cash refund, not a
voucher or certificate. There's no risk when you book with Collette.
But isn't it
expensive?
Not at all! Let's
say you were planning to take our Italian Vistas tour for 13 days. The
land-only waiver is just $170 per person. That breaks down to about
$13.07 a day-just a little over eight euros! The land and air waiver is
only $30 more. That's airplane peanuts compared to the peace of mind
you'll enjoy.
Plus, you're
covered on tour.
Our cancellation
waiver and insurance plan covers you on tour. If you have to stop your
trip or return home early, need medical assistance or evacuation,
suffer a baggage loss or delay; or are delayed on tour for 12 hours or
more, you're covered.

| CANCELLATION
WAIVER & INSURANCE PLAN |
Exception: If
you originally purchased
non-refundable airline tickets, the Waiver does not provide a refund
for the airline tickets, taxes or fees in the event of a cancellation
or a return transportation benefit if you must return home early. The
air waiver does not cover medical evacuation or additional expenses
associated with a medical emergency.
The Waiver Fee does not cover any single supplement charges which arise
from an individual’s traveling companion electing to cancel for any
reason prior to departure. In this case, the single supplement will be
deducted from the refund of the person who cancels. Division of this
charge between the two passengers involved is solely their
responsibility. If insufficient funds are deducted from the canceling
client, the traveling client will be charged the remaining portion of
the single supplement.
Payment of the Waiver Fee (if chosen) must be received by Collette
Vacations with your Deposit. The Waiver is non-transferable and valid
for each applicant only.
Collette Vacations can assume no responsibility for and cannot be held
liable for any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized acts or omissions of
any travel agent or travel agency other than that of Collette Travel
Service, Inc. itself, and its own employees.

PART B CONDITIONS &
LIMITATIONS Certain exclusions and limitations apply and are
detailed in the Certificate of Coverage. For example, coverage does not
apply to: any sickness or condition of you, a Traveling Companion or an
Immediate Family Member traveling with you that existed during the 60
days prior to the effective date of the coverages (this exclusion is
waived if your plan payment is received by Collette Vacations within 7
days of your initial deposit/payment for your trip and you are not
disabled from travel at the time your plan payment is received),
suicide, normal pregnancy, war or any act of war, mental or nervous
disorders. A Traveling Companion is defined as a person booked to share
accommodations in the same room with you during your trip. Sickness or
injury must require care by a Physician and must commence while the
Travel Protection Plan is in effect for you. This plan does not cover a
loss that results from an illness, disease, or other condition (of you,
an Immediate Family Member, Traveling Companion or Business Partner),
event or circumstance which occurs at a time when this plan is not in
effect for you.
