Most of the villas of West Beach Village are within walking distance to numerous resort amenities including restaurants, The Straw Market Shops, the West Beach Tennis Club, a Bike Shop, the fitness center, Cougar Point Golf Course, and Beachwalker County Park. Your villa may overlook the fairways or the ocean. It may place you on an exotic lagoon or adjacent to the tennis courts. Some include such niceties as fireplaces and screened in porches. And all provide the privileges and preferred pricing offered to all of our resort guests.

East Beach Village offers yet another island villa lifestyle. From kayaking and canoeing adventures to alligator and birding walks. From oceanfront fine dining to riverside oyster roasts.

Then there's the golf - spectacular golf. Five championship courses, including the world-famous Ocean Course, host of the 2003 World Golf Championship, 1991 Ryder Cup Matches and the 1997 World Cup of Golf. This is Kiawah Island, where nearby Charleston's influences abound. Kiawah's friendly character is derived from the gracious Charleston lifestyle, in which Southern Hospitality is never the exception and every meal is a celebration of tastes.

COURSE SELECTIONS:

	The OCEAN COURSE Designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1991 before the Ryder Cup Matches, The Ocean Course gained instant notoriety as the site of the most dramatic "War by the Shore," a battle decided literally by the final putt of Sunday's final match. In 1997, The Ocean Course hosted the World Cup of Golf. The world's finest golfers from 32 countries competed in this stroke play tournament. And last November, the course again took center stage of the golfing world when it hosted the inaugural UBS Warburg Cup.But with all 18 holes offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, it's likely The Ocean Course would have earned widespread acclaim had no tournament ever been played there. Located at the Eastern end of Kiawah Island, The Ocean Course negotiates along 2 3/4 miles of pristine oceanfront property. According to Pete Dye, "There's no other golf course in the Northern Hemisphere that has as many seaside holes".
	TURTLE POINT GOLF CLUB The combination of length and accuracy demanded by this Jack Nicklaus design has led to its selection for several important championships including the Carolinas' Amateur, the Carolinas' PGA, the South Carolina Amateur and the 1990 PGA Cup Matches, the club professionals version of the Ryder Cup. Opened in 1981, Turtle Point is a low-profile design with fairways and green settings blended into the existing landscape. Nowhere is this more evident than along a spectacular three-hole stretch woven through rolling sand dunes directly along the Atlantic Ocean.
	COUGAR POINT GOLF CLUB Designed by Gary Player, the par-72 layout features holes playing directly along broad expanses of tidal marsh, offering panoramic views of the Kiawah River and acres of needlerush and spartina grass. Cougar Point is designed to test the scratch player while providing an enjoyable round for all.
	OSPREY POINT GOLF CLUB At Osprey Point, Fazio used a superb natural canvas to create a masterpiece in playability and variety. The setting for the course features four large, natural lakes, fingers of saltwater marsh, and dense maritime forests of live oaks, pines, palmettos, and magnolias. Into that backdrop, Fazio blended a par-72 layout that takes advantage of its setting. Ranked in Golf Digest's "America's Top 75 Resort Courses," Osprey Point has grown into one of the favorite courses on the island.
	OAK POINT GOLF CLUB Located one mile outside the main gate of the Resort, Oak Point is the newest addition to Kiawah's array of courses. This Scottish-American style course borders the historic Haulover Creek and the Kiawah River. Wide areas of windswept fairways stretch alongside salt marshlands interspersed with densely forested areas of live oaks. Oak Point was rated among "America's Best" by Golfweek magazine.

Of course the more information that you can provide us, the closer we will be in matching your exact request(s). We are available to answer your inquiries in person Monday - Friday (except holidays) from 8:30am until 5:30pm CST (1-817-481-9887). Our typical response time for your email request ranges from 3 hours to as many as 72 depending upon the availability of onsite resourses and those of the golf clubs, country clubs and resorts/lodging establishments, as well as, any variations you may request from our listed programs. For those inquirers requesting a trip within two weeks of play, we will give you a priority due to your need to establish a plan. At any rate, we will respond to your requests as quickly as possible and as soon as we have all components of your package confirmable. Also, keep in mind that some of our golf packages are time sensitive requiring an advance purchase to receive the lowest available rates.
