1 - Depart USA
We fly over the international date
line on our way to Melbourne, in Australia.
Day 3
- Arrive Melbourne (3 nights)
On arrival at Melbourne Airport
you will be transferred to your hotel. After check-in time at leisure before
a welcome drink with your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions
tonight.

Day 4
- Melbourne sightseeing
Morning sightseeing shows us the
Royal Botanic Gardens, St. Paul's Cathedral, Parliament House, the Shrine
of Remembrance and much more. Later enjoy time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 5
- Melbourne at Leisure
After breakfast, enjoy a full day
at leisure to perhaps see the magnificent rock formations of the Twelve
Apostles along the Great Ocean Road or ride the 'Puffing Billy' steam train
and visit a winery. This evening, why not witness the nightly ritual of
the Fairy Penguins returning from a day of fishing on nearby Phillip Island?

Day 6
- Melbourne - Alice Springs
Today you will be transfered to
Melbourne Airport for an early morning breakfast flight to Alice Springs(flights
to arrive prior to 1:00pm). On our arrival we enjoy a tour of this unique
outback town. We'll visit the historic Alice Springs Telgraph Station,
Royal Flying Doctor Service, School of the Air and the panoramic views
from Anzac Hill, before returning to the hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 7
- Alice Springs - Uluru (Ayers Rock)
(2 nights)
An early start as we depart for
for Ayers Rock. We stop at a camel farm where you can try your hand riding
" a ship of the desert". This afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the facilities
at Ayers Rock Resort. This evening savour a complimentary glass of wine
while watching the sunset over Uluru (Ayers Rock) from the viewing area
known as the "sunset strip". The subtle colour changes are quite amazing.

Day 8
- Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).
Rise early to view Uluru (Ayers
Rock) at sunrise. There is the opportunity to climb to the summit. Tour
the caves at the base of Uluru and hear stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime.
Later, visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon, we travel
through the desert plains to Kata Tuta (the Olgas). The size and grandeur
of these 36 massive domes of conglomerate red rock will amaze you. Take
a walk through Olga Gorge and gaze down the central valley of Kata Tjuta
(the Olgas). After a spectacular sunset with sparkling wine at Kata Tjuta,
we enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and time for stargazing too! (Buffet

Day 9
- Uluru (Ayers Rock) -
Cairns (3 nights)
This moring enjoy some free time
at Ayers Rock Resort for shopping and relaxation. Then you will be transferred
to Ayers Rock Airport for your lunchtime flight to Cairns. On arrival at
Cairns Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day
is at leisure to explore this tropical city. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 10
- Great Barrier Reef
Mid-morning we join the Great Adventures
catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy an informative
reef education presentation, see a myriad of corals and tropical fish seen
from the underwater observatory and the semi-submersible craft. There is
the opportunity to go snorkelling and view this natural living wonder up
close (equipment provided). We'll enjoy an included buffet lunch, before
we return to Cairns for the night. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight Lunch)
Day 11
- Cairns at leisure
After breakfast enjoy a full day
at leisure. There's time maybe to take an excursion above the rainforest
on the Skyrail Cableway to the Picturesque village of Kuranda or relax
at the hotel. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 12
- Cairns - Sydney (3 nights)
Today you'll be transferred to Cairns
Airport for your flight to Sydney. On our arrival at Sydney you will be
transferrred to your hotel where you spend the first of our three night
stay. The rest of the day is at leisure perhaps to explore this beautiful
harbour city. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 13
- Sydney Sightseeing & Harbour
Cruise
After breakfast our morning sightseeing
tour includes a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House, and shows us the
Royal Botanical Gardens, Mrs. Macquarie's Chair and Kings Cross. After
we are off to Watson's Bay and The Gap, before we stop to visit famous
Bondi Beach, with time to stroll along the beach. Later, it's back to the
city for a delicious luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour. After our cruise
we re-board the coach and travel across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, stopping
at Milson's Point to photograph fabulous views of Sydney Harbour and the
city skyline. The afternoon is free. (Buffet breakfast) (Highlight Lunch)
Day 14
- Sydney at leisure
Enjoy a full day at leisure in this
great city. There is plenty to do and the coice is yours. Maybe shop for
some last minute souvenirs or take an excursion to the Blue Mountains and
see some of Australia's native wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park. (Buffet
breakfast)
Day 15
- Sydney - USA
This morning, bid farewell to Australia
as you are transferred to Sydney Airport for your return flight home. (Buffet
breakfast)
