At par 72, this 6,500 yard course has fourteen holes with water hazards and numerous bulkheaded greens. A variety of bunkers are placed throughout the course to add to the challenge and a natural approach has been maintained as well with the use of coquina shell cart paths, native plant life and preserved habitats for the local wildlife. Walking is allowed after 4:00 pm.

Long Point is a par 72 course with a back tee yardage of 6,775 yards. It has been acclaimed as one of the "Top Fifty Courses in Florida", by Golfweek Magazine and one of the "Best Places to Play" by Golf Digest. The Florida Women's Amateur, Men's US Open and US Amateur qualifiers have been held here in the past in addition to numerous Amelia Island Club events and championships. This course is also the primary course of our Amelia Island Club members.

We can also add a round at the new AMELIA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB. This is a totally private Fazio design in nearby Ferandina Beach. This absolutely stunning venue is available for play only through Southern Breeze Golf Tours. Fazio Golf Course Designers strive to follow design priorities that include creating harmonious transitions from existing topographical conditions, developing courses that offer golfers of varying skill a challenging yet enjoyable experience, and providing each client with optimum use of the property.

 




ACCOMMODATIONS

AMELIA ISLAND PLANTATION RESORT  The Villas of Amelia provide guests with special features, room configurations and amenities. 418 ocean and resort view hotel rooms, one, two and three bedroom villas are available and are attentively maintained. Many have ocean views, or line the fairways of the golf courses, others adjoin the tennis courts at Racquet Park or overlook the relaxing marsh. Each villa is unique, most feature fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, spacious living rooms, multiple baths and private bedrooms.
